Let me start a new kind of post in the blog, book recomendations. I sincerely recommend to read "WHEN GENIUS FAILED, The Rise and Fall of Long-Term Capital Management". Obviously a book centered in capital markets that requieres some understanding of spreads, bonds, stocks, treasury bills, and so on.
Regardless that it is a really easy to read book that give you some interesting ideas about markets, management and the humble need in every situation.
Roger Lowenstein captures the roller-coaster rise and fall of LTCM a "Hedge Fund" funded in 1993 by J. Meriwether including in the partnership two Nobel Prize winning economists and a cadre of Wall Street's and academias's elite traders.
Just let me say that this company almost collapsed completely all the financial system.
